Making photographs is a process that’s somewhat embedded in my daily life. Sometimes I revisit places or situations when I am working on a certain idea or project, or maybe just want to look harder. Many photographs are, in a way, responses to the external world, to active discourses that occupy my mind, whether they relate to gender, identity or history, as well as to how I feel inside.
