An alliance of care for the SZenne river
Although its name pops up throughout the city and it stretches for 103 kilometres, linking Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders, the rarely spotted Senne or Zenne (SZenne) often feels like a myth in the Belgian capital. In response, the transdisciplinary artist group Natural Contract Lab (NCL) organises walks and public interventions to build an alliance of care to potentially recognise and defend the river’s rights.
