Natural Contract Lab

Natural Contract Lab (NCL) is a transdisciplinary artist group. NCL organises walks and public interventions to build an alliance of care to potentially recognise and defend the river’s rights. NCL was founded in 2021 by Maria Lucia Cruz Correia as an ongoing co-creation project. The group unites the SZenne River (as ally and companion), Vinny Jones (sensory scenography/dramaturgy), Brunilda Pali (restorative justice), Lode Vranken (design/philosophy) and Margarida Mendes (research/sonic guidance).
