What you do for the Earth, the Earth does for you
When I was young, I never questioned why most of the artists whose work I encountered were male. It wasn’t an issue in the nineties. We strolled through exhibitions, looked at art, read about the artists, listened to curators, flipped through books, and came to terms with the fact that it was a man’s world.
