Radical Software at Mudam

In 1970 Beryl Korot, Phyllis Gershuny (now Phyllis Segura) and Ira Schneider launched a new magazine called Radical Software. In their introduction to the inaugural issue, the editors addressed potential readers with these words: ‘Our species will survive neither by totally rejecting nor unconditionally embracing technology — but by humanizing it; by allowing people access to the informational tools they need to shape and reassert control over their lives.’ At the time, active (digital) fe (…)
