of Wu Tsang
In 2005, on a celebration trip to Los Angeles for the first-ever issue of my magazine Girls Like Us, I was introduced to Wu Tsang, an aspiring queer filmmaker. Wu was dating a friend of a friend, they were stranded somewhere with their car, while I was on a stroll with my bunch of LA dykes. The LA dyke scene was thrilling (it was the heyday of The L Word, but that’s another story).
