City Report
As we enter our second year, we are delighted to introduce a new series that fulfils a long-held ambition: GLEAN’s City Report. In collaboration with local artists, our aim is to offer our readers an art lover’s perspective on a different city in each issue. As a Brussels-based magazine, the choice to kick off the season in our home city was a no-brainer.
City Report Brussels
As well as a new feature from our series The Spot, this Brussels City Report features two artistic responses to the city. We asked the Brussels-born artist Maxime Fauconnier to create a visual portrait of the city from his photographic archive. His contribution captures both the characteristic features of Brussels and some more abstract photographic elements.
