Sue Spaid

Sue Spaid is a curator and philosopher whose published philosophy papers address artificial intelligence, hate speech, environmental ethics, care aesthetics, biodiversity, well-being and hydrological justice. The author of five books on art and ecology, her most recent monograph is The Philosophy of Curatorial Practice: Between Work and World (Bloomsbury Academics, 2020). Her most recent art essay is ‘Be mindful: Plant intelligence, art and patience’ in Art and Creativity in an Era of Ecocide (Bloomsbury Visual Arts, 2023), edited by Anna Pigott et al.
