Laila Melchior

Laila Melchior is a Brussels-based writer and curator interested in the threshold of individual takes and the creation of collaboratively inhabitable bodies. Focusing on non-dominant perspectives, she has a practice in exhibition making, public programming and collaborations with artists and institutions. She recently joined the artist cooperative Level Five (Brussels) as coordinator, together with Rob Ritzen. As co-initiator and coordinator of the Young Curators Programme, she has been working since 2019 to connect emerging curators with the Belgian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
